Yosemite Valley Charter School

Welcome to our High School program for Yosemite Valley Charter and Monarch River Academy, home of The Eagles!! My name is Denise Voth and I am proud to be the High School Director for these two excellent charters. I have two children in college and one already in the workforce, so I am keenly aware of the hard work and commitment it takes for our students to be college and career ready. I appreciate the individualized education that our program provides to each and every one of our students.

In 2016, our first charter Yosemite Valley was established and 2 years later we added Monarch River Academy to be included in our Central Valley Charter high schools. We have a history of understanding the heart for those who choose to homeschool with a strong academic focus. We love to encourage our students to find what they love and build their high school curriculum around it. I am so proud of the many ways our students meet the A-G requirements to get into CSU and UC's. Our high school students can take courses in various ways through online, offline or a mix of both types of curriculum options! Our schools are rich in academics, but we also offer Academic Decathlon, National Honor Society, and NCAA-approved courses. Our students can choose from hundreds of electives to support their interests and talents. There is truly something for everyone, and we encourage all students to create their own pathway to success!

In our charters, we value the parents in our school community who are integral parts of the learning experience and their students' success. As an educational team, we are honored to work with you and your family and are committed to making sure your student feels valued and supported throughout their educational journey.

We are excited to start the upcoming school year with you and your student. We encourage all parents to stay informed by visiting our website throughout the year. We look forward to a wonderful 2022-23 school year. Go Eagles!
