Financial Aid
Whether you are looking to go to a university, college, or technical/vocational school, don't miss out on free money! Even if you think you won't need it because you are going straight to work or joining the military, LIFE HAPPENS! Apply for financial aid as your Plan B by March 2nd of your senior year.
Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA). All graduating students need to fill out one of these forms to be eligible for any federal and state financial aid, including the California Promise Grant (2 years of free community college) and the new Californians for All College Corps ($10,000 community service grant). Most schools and colleges also use these applications to award their own institution's grants and scholarships.
