Helpful Hints: 

• Google Chrome is the best web browser to use.
• If you encounter any errors, clearing your browsing history will help!
• If your student needs to pause, ADMIN in all caps will get you back into the test
• You will see all tests as an option on the dashboard, so read the assignments carefully below! 

Test Assignments by Grade:

• Transitional Kinder & Kindergarten: Star Early Literacy Only
• 1st-12th grade: Star Reading & Star Math
  • * Note: 1st-2nd grade students may substitute Star Reading for Early Literacy with teacher approval. However, Math will still be required. 

We ask students to complete our online STAR Assessments to support their academic growth. Your student will take the tests at home two times this year, with an optional third attempt at the mid-year point. Each subject will take approximately 20-30 minutes. While it’s natural to want to assist your child, providing help during the assessment can affect the results. To ensure accurate results and avoid the need for retesting, please have your student complete the assessment independently.
