Some issues follow different processes:
- Allegations of child abuse or neglect.
- Allegations of employment discrimination (Employees should follow internal procedures outlined in the employee handbook, but may file directly with the California Civil Rights Department (CRD)).
- Allegations regarding special education due process or IDEA services.

Complaints related to Williams Act issues (instructional materials sufficiency, facility conditions, teacher misassignments) (These follow Appendix B Williams Complaints procedures).

Allegations of Title IX Sexual Harassment (These are addressed under the School’s specific Title IX Policy and Procedures).
- Complaints regarding Child Nutrition Programs (These are subject to separate federal and state regulations).
