Fraction Champions- Advanced Fractions

In this class, students will deepen their understanding of fractions by learning how to add and subtract fractions and mixed numbers with confidence and accuracy. They will explore equivalent fractions, convert between improper fractions and mixed numbers, and use visual models to understand why fraction operations work before moving to more efficient strategies. Students will also practice estimating, solving real-world word problems, and clearly explaining their mathematical thinking—skills that build strong foundations for middle school math and beyond.
